The lyocell fiber (CLY) used here comes from the Lenzing company in Austria and is labeled with the proprietary brand name TENCEL™. Lenzing specializes in the eco-friendly and resource-saving production of cellulose fibers. The starting material for production is wood from sustainable, certified forestry. In other words, a purely botanical origin. 

The cellulose is obtained from sustainably grown wood, in a closed manufacturing process. The result is a sustainable, strong fiber with unique physical properties. It is soft, fluent, breathable and skin-friendly.

Fil-Coupé literally means “cut threads” in English. Our Fil Coupé fabric is a jacquard fabric that is made from a fine viscose blend using a special technique. 

After the actual jacquard weaving is completed, the floating weft threads on one side of the fabric are cut off in a second production step. 

This additional step creates the special Fil Coupé effect and makes the fabric lighter, the surface more dynamic and the respective design more visible.

For our high-quality summer knitwear, we mainly use natural yarns such as cotton, viscose and linen. These materials feel pleasant against the skin, especially on warm days. 

The fine, flowing, and partially textured knitted surfaces feature specially designed patterns that are only available from us. 

All styles are knitted in their regular shape. This high-quality and sustainable knitting technique produces no cutting waste. Used as an exclusive design element, the necessary visible reductions in the knit ensure a perfect fit and high wearing comfort.
